About Us:

TehBoX is an progression-based raiding guild on Stormscale (US-PvP).

Formerly based on Warsong (US-PvP), a small group of friends founded this guild in April 2007 during the Karazhan days of the Burning Crusade expansion and helped build it over the next 3 years into the end-game raiding guild it is today. After conquering all BC content up to Sunwell, external circumstances such as server lag due to overpopulation, the language barrier (on a predominantly Brazilian server), and PST raid times on an EST server forced our entire raiding core to migrate to a Pacific server in May 2008 for a better recruitment pool.

Progression:

We have since made Stormscale our home with server-first Sunwell clear, and have continued to push progression throughout the WotLK expansion with server-first Sartharion + 3D, server-first drakes for every 10/25-player WotLK "Glory of the Raider" meta-achievement, server-firsts on every Ulduar Hardmode, including Algalon (Celestial Defender) and Yogg+0: Alone in the Darkness (Death's Demise), server-first Lich King (pre-nerf 0% buff), and server-first Heroic Lich King 10-man.. Times:

We have a dynamic melting pot of long time members and more recent additions from all over the continent, with a solid core and an upbeat team. We take pride in our ability to be at the top of content despite a relatively casual raiding schedule (4 hrs*3 days = 12 raiding hours/week). Our days are currently on Monday through Wednesday starting at 8pm - 12am PST.

Our Goal:

To raid with like-minded individuals who thirst to accomplish all of WoW's PvE content and be dedicated to top-tier progression, while still having fun. We are always looking for reliable, dedicated, exceptional players who can demonstrate a broad understanding of their class and of PvE mechanics. Moreover, you should be able to take a joke and have a good sense of humor, but also be willing to take constructive criticism and communicate with the rest of the guild.

Expectations:

1) You keep up with current class mechanics and theory crafting.
2) You're on time for raids and ready to go with the most effective talent spec, optimal gems/enchants, and full consumables.
3) You maintain a 90% attendance rate at a minimum.
4) You do extensive research for every encounter and thoroughly understand the role that you play for each. We will not hand-hold or spoon-feed.

Loot System:

TehBoX uses loot council with a modified EPGP system to track attendance. Criteria for item distribution includes but is not limited to: raid attendance and performance, contribution to the guild, magnitude of upgrade, and most recent loot received.
